My furture plans

Today is Thursday ,my friends are going to Greenwich park to see fireworks. But after school I should be to go to work, because I want to give my father to buy a new phone before I go back home in Christmas holiday. In December 7th, We have a exam ,but I bought December 6th a ticket are go to back home .I would like to change anther time, but in Christmas, a lot of students are going back home, so I can not change it, the waiter told me that if you want to replace the time I will wait until December 22 can have a seat to go home that is very depressed. I hope David can understand my feelings about I really want to go back home in holiday. I'm going to read more books during the holiday and hoping I can be smoothly promoted to preparatory classes in next term.

  1. Thanks Ivy. Try to stay on the topic. If you have a disagreement about holidays and dates we can talk about it in class. This week’s blog is really a chance to practice talking about your future and use the grammar from the lessons to talk about your life. Try to make the blogs more interesting by adding some pictures or video.

    Some corrections:

“, but in Christmas, a lot of students will go back home”

Here, we know about their plans so we would not use ‘will’

‘, but in Christmas, a lot of students are going back home’

‘, but in Christmas, a lot of students are going to go back home’

“…. told me that if you want to change the time I have to wait until December 22 can have a seat to go home that is very depressed.”

If you describe your feeling you can say ’depressed’, but if you describe the situation you use the ‘ing’ adjective.

‘…. told me that if you want to change the time I have to wait until December 22 can have a seat to go home that is very depressing.’
